Dr Jorge Forjaz, an eminent genealogist, studied the family trees and histories of Macau and documented them in seminal works Familias Macaenses: the first edition, in 1996 broke new ground; the second edition in 2017 improved further, bequeathing to all Macanese a treasured record of their roots.
